Matthew Green
Matthew Green is a titled APA Sports Physiotherapist who has over 15 years experience. His particular passion is treating golf related injuries. Matthew has had extensive experience managing a wide range of sports injuries, with a heavy emphasis on acute and post-surgical ankle, knee and shoulder cases.
Matthew has had a broad experience in the field of sports physiotherapy, and has previously been the physiotherapist for the Cronulla Sharks NRL team, the Parramatta Eels NRL club and the West Sydney Razorbacks NBL basketball team. Matthew has also been heavily involved with junior sport at all levels, including representative basketball, rugby league and rugby union.
Matthew has a special interest in working with golfers, and currently works extensively with golfers of all levels, from beginners to touring professionals. Matthew currently maintains a 1 handicap, which places him in a unique position to blend his knowledge of golf and his clinical expertise. Matthew takes a proactive approach to help golfer’s improve their game, as well as helping them overcome injury. Matthew works closely with several leading teaching golf professionals in Sydney to not only help their students improve their golf, but also improve technique to reduce the risk of injury.
Matthew is the consultant Physiotherapist to the NSW Institute of Sport Golf Program and is an NSWIS Preferred Provider. Matthew is the consultant Physiotherapist to the NSW Golf Association, and also works with the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation.
