SHOULDER

A ball and socket joint…although the socket is not a very deep one (it’s more like a dish!). This means there is a lot of pressure on the muscles to hold the ball in the socket, and not just in it but rather right in the centre of it!  What happens if it’s not where it should be?   You can get constant aches, pain with certain movements, clicking, the list goes on. Some more common things we treat include things like: Rotator cuff tendinopathy, Rotator Cuff tears, labral tears, dislocations/subluxations and bicipital tendonitis.
