Women's Health and Musculoskeletal Physio. I work in Bondi Junction.

My Story:

I grew up in the North Western burbs of Sydney in Beecroft, where my poor parents spent over a decade of Saturday’s sitting on the side line of fields and courts, watching average quality sport .

It was my love of sport, inability to sit still and my interest in the human body, health and movement that lead me to study physio at Sydney University.

As soon as I graduated in 2011, I moved straight to Bondi and started working in musculoskeletal private practice. After 4 years of whinging about how cold I was in Sydney, to everyone’s surprise I decided to move to London.

In between sipping Aperol Spritz on European beaches, I worked and trained at the worlds largest Clinical Pilates education Company for Physios, the APPI. Before returning home, I delayed reality and adulting for one more year, doing a snow season in Banff, Canada.

I enjoy discussing ‘surfing’ with my patients, but desperately hope they never actually see me nose diving my pink foamy on to the sand banks at North Bondi. I also love snowboarding, letting out my overly competitive side at social mixed netball, Margaritas, Toblerone’s and Sriracha.

What makes me different:

I love getting to know my patients and working with them to achieve their goals.

I am really interested in understanding the impact that all systems in the body have on each other. Because the brain, nervous system and musculoskeletal systems all interact and contribute to peoples experience of pain, I strive to find the underlying causes of conditions rather than just treating symptoms.

I believe that movement is medicine, and this is why I incorporate exercise rehab and/or Pilates in to my patients programs. I also teach physios and other health professionals Clinical Pilates on weekend professional development courses for the APPI.
