Hannah Doherty
Pelvic Health and Musculoskeletal. I work at Cammeray Mon-Thurs.
My story:
I grew up on Sydney’s North Shore where sport and exercise have always been a big part of my life. I have always been drawn to understanding how the body works as a whole. I have a keen interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation and how the rest of the body contributes to pelvic health. I am particularly skilled in the management of pelvic organ prolapse and love supporting women throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey — helping them safely return to exercise and the activities they love.
Outside of work, I love moving my body. You’ll always find me in the water — even in winter!
What makes me different:
I cut my teeth as a Physiotherapist in fast-paced and complex hospital settings, including the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department. This experience shaped my approach to care — fostering strong clinical reasoning, adaptability, and a deep appreciation for multidisciplinary teamwork. It also sparked my passion for Women’s Health, and I haven’t looked back!
I’m currently undertaking my Master of Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, which is challenging me to critically appraise and integrate the latest research into everyday practice to achieve the best outcomes for my patients. I pride myself on advocating for each individual and working collaboratively to help them feel confident and empowered in their health journey.
